About Woolgoolga and Northern Beaches
the missing piece of paradise
Woolgoolga is one of the prettiest coastal villages on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Situated only approximately 26 kilometres from main centre of Coffs Harbour, Woolgoolga has the melange of surf and sun with cultural activities.
Woolgoolga is rather unique in that it is like discovering a little piece of India in an Australian coastal town.
One fifth of the town's population are Sikhs who stem back five generations, usually speaking both Punjab and English. A majority of Sikhs own Blueberry and Banana plantations in the area and their temple has a magical quality with its ornate domes and minarets perched on a hill above the Pacific Highway.
